Babs Simmons


Originally from Cincinnati, Babs moved to Nashville to attend Belmont College to study Music and Business and develop her skills as a songwriter. She became a staff writer with a publishing deal at Diamond Storm and Mike Curb Music. While in Nashville, she met her husband and they went on to form Simba Entertainment, LLC, a music publishing company that has since ventured into film making. She also created Simba Products, Inc., a musical instrument company, and serves as its President. Babs has been the executive producer, producer and co-producer on several projects such as Lukewarm and Changing Seasons. She is a co-producer on the critically acclaimed film Devil’s Knot and has since partnered with producers from that film on two other projects currently in development; The Tracks and Natchez. Her independently produced family feature film, A Belle For Christmas, is distributed worldwide through Anchor Bay Entertainment.
